Cypress
Cypress is one of Harris County’s unincorporated communities, located about 25 miles northeast of Downtown Houston. The community is along US 290 (Northwest Freeway), west of Grand Parkway. Large scale residential and commercial development beginning in the 1980s has transformed this once rural area into one of the Houston area’s largest suburban communities with most of the housing having been recently built.
